SBI dotes Rs 20 lakh to Cachar Cancer Hospital

Guwahati, Nov 4: The State Bank of India under its Corporate Responsibility Scheme doted a sum of Rs. 20 lakh  to Cachar Cancer Hospital & Research Centre today towards procuring Oxygen Generator & Centralised Distribution to provide better & prompt oxygen supplementation for ICU Patients, an SBI release said.

A programme was organised at Cachar Cancer Hospital in Silchar on the occasion wherein PVSLN Murty, CGM, NE Circle, handed over a cheque of Rs. 20 lakh to Dr Ravi Kann, Director of the hospital authority.

Sanjay Srivastava, Deputy General Mager (B&O), Guwahati , Swapan Mohan Aich, Assistant General Mager, SBI, RBO Silchar, along with other senior executives from SBI and hospital authority were present in the function. It is worth mentioning that bank also doted Mammography Machine and Computerised Radiography System in the past under Corporate Social Responsibility.
