SBI dotes Rs 5 lakh to Dagaon Ath Ashram

GUWAHATI, Oct 27: State Bank of India, under its Corporate Responsibility Scheme, doted a sum of Rs five lakh to Dagaon Ath Ashram, Dhekorgorh, Jorhat, a home of destitute children today for construction of playground, art & cultural hall & quality toilets to provide better livelihood to the destitute children residing in the ashram, stated a press release.

A  programme was  organised at SBI, Local Head Office in Guwahati, wherein  Dr. M S Sastry, (DMD & CRO), SBI, Corporate Centre, Mumbai handed over a cheque of Rs. five lakh to Makhan Goswami & Mainu Goswami of  Dagaon Ath Ashram.

P V S L N Murty, CGM, NE Circle, Pan Lal Das & Gautam Bhattacharya, General Magers, SBI, Local Head Office, Guwahati along with other senior executives from SBI were present in the function.
