SBI dotes utility items to orphage

DIBRUGARH, July 1: The Administrative office of SBI, Dibrugarh, doted utility items like stand fans, water filters, bed sheets and other statiory items to Prero Children Home, located at Chowkidhinghee here on the occasion of Bank Day today.  The Deputy General Mager of (B&O) of SBI, Administrative Office, Dibrugarh, Tilak Kumar Dhar, along with his team, visited the orphage here on July 1, and handed over the utility items to the authorities of Prero Pratibandhi NGO.  Later Dhar praised the NGO authorities for their social service towards the welfare of the orphans. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that more institutions should come forward to work for the upliftment of the poor and the under privileged. Dhar, reiterated the commitment of bank for the welfare of society and said that SBI has always been participating in such welfare activities throughout the country under corporate social responsibility.
