SBI Intouch branch opened in city

Guwahati, May 25: State Bank of India, NE Circle announced today the opening of its fully digitalized branch called SBI Intouch Branch at G.S.Road, Guwahati. The branch is the first of its kind in Assam. Rajnish Kumar, MD (tiol Banking Group) from SBI Corporate Centre, Mumbai iugurated the Branch through Video Conferencing. The Chief General Mager, P.V.S.L.N. Murthy iugurated the branch by lighting the ceremonial lamp in presence of Gautam Bhattacharyya, General Mager Network-I, Pan Lal Das, General Mager Network-II, and other officials.

 The branch expects to cater to the expectations of young India. The key services provided by the branch include Automated Account opening and Credit facilities, ATM (Automated Teller Machine), CDM (Cash Deposit Machine), ECD (Electronic Cheque Deposit Machine), Swayam Passbook Printer and even Video Consultancy facility. The newly opened branch is in tune with the bank’s policy to expand its Branch network and provide exceptiol digital banking services to Customers.

MD, Rajnish Kumar interacted with the students of IIT and NERIM present at the iugural ceremony through the video conferencing. CGM, Murthy also interacted with the students and distributed account opening kits to all new customers of the branch in the presence of other senior functiories of the Bank.  This was stated in a press release.
