SBI introduces renovated ATM with environmental and wildlife theme

GUWAHATI, Aug 19: As a measure of green initiative, SBI has already introduced ATM, e-Centre, Cash Deposit Machine (CDM), internet banking, mobile banking and many other app based on banking to promote paperless, eco-friendly, hassle free banking services. Recently, SBI introduced a unique app of “State Bank No Queue” which drastically reduces the waiting time in a branch. Besides all, SBI has shown its keen interest and full hearted participation towards saving the wildlife, especially in Assam, where the scerio is gloom with multiple threats. To boost people’s awareness and as a measure of  campaign on saving wildlife, bank has decided to bring an extraordiry innovative step of branding its ATM/e-Centres with the theme of saving the endangered wildlife, especially to save the famous one horned rhino in Assam.

To give it a noble start, PVSLN Murty, Chief General Mager, SBI North eastern circle formally iugurated renovated e-Centre located near Downtown Hospital, Rukminigar in  Guwahati on Friday. Kaushik Sinha, Circle Development officer of SBI, NE Circle and Sanjay Srivastava, Dy General Mager of SBI Guwahati module including many other senior bank officials and customers witnessed the happening. This was stated in a press release.
