SBI Ladies Club dotes utilities

GUWAHATI, Dec 29: SBI Ladies Club, North Eastern Circle, Guwahati doted one big (425lts) Refrigerator and 61 sets of mattresses, pillows and bedcovers to “Ashalaya” (Children Home), Chandmari, for the benefits of the residents of the children home.

Reeta Agarwal, Chief Guest along with Amika Srivastava, Secretary SBI Ladies Club, N.E. Circle handed over the items to Sister Mary Alexander of “Ashalaya” at a function held on Christmas Day.

In her address to the gathering, Agarwal stated that SBI Ladies Club has been rendering yeoman services to the people by way of dotion to benevolent and charitable organisations, schools, old age home, etc from time to time, especially the poor, needy and the destitute sections of the society. Sister Mary Alexander, of Ashalaya thanked the members of SBI, Ladies Club, N.E.Circle for their kind and noble gesture of doting the items which she termed its as a giant Christmas gift for the children of the home.
