SBI Ladies Club, NE Circle dotes water purifiers & ceiling fans

Guwahati, February11: SBI Ladies Club, N.E. Circle, Guwahati, a Voluntary Charitable Organisation today doted 10 numbers of Water Purifiers and 10 numbers of Ceiling Fans to Gauhati Blind School, located at Basistha, Guwahati for the benefits & welfare of the poor & blind students studying in the residential school.

Smt. Nivedita Magoo, President, SBI Ladies Club, N.E. Circle handed over the items in presence of Shri Bhaben Barman, Head Master-in charge of the School, Smt. Amika Srivastava & Smt. Rakesh Garg, Joint Secretaries of the Club, Smt. Mallika Borah, Treasurer, Teachers and students at a function held at the premises of the school campus.

In her address to the students, she stated that SBI, Ladies Club has been rendering yeoman services to the people by way of dotion to benevolent and charitable organisations, schools, old age home, etc from time to time. She also urged the students to speak out for their further needs and assured to provide them their needs like TV, Sports & Cultural items.    Smt. Juri Sarma, teacher of the school thanked the members of SBI, Ladies Club, N.E.Circle for their kind and noble gesture of doting the Water Purifiers and Ceiling Fans, which she said, would go a long way in providing hygienic water for drinking and comfortable environment for studying to the students who are mostly from poor families.
