From our Correspondent

Silchar, Aug 23: “Triple talaq is the Supreme Court’s historical judgement which will remain a milestone for centuries to come. BJP government has always worked for the uplift, emancipation and empowerment of women. Congressmen are of the opinion that why BJP should take the credit after all, it is the Supreme Court that passed the judgement. But had Congress be at the power, they would have tried to mould and reverse the judgement. This is just the beginning of a new era. BJP is capable of bringing many more landmark and revolutiory reforms in the country,” said veteran jourlist M J Akbar, who is also the Minister of State (MoS) for Exterl Affairs and a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, at a blood dotion camp held at BJP office, Itkhola of this town on Wednesday.

The reins of development have been given to the women. Our mission is to move from Sankalpa to Siddhi. Various schemes have been launched by the government to benefit the poor and the privileged.
