Schemes launched by government highlighted

Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Sanmilan held in Golaghat

Golaghat, June 14: The Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas Sanmilan was held here on Wednesday at Golaghat General Field, organized jointly by Golaghat district administration and Numaligarh Refinery Limited, on the occasion of completion of three years of the Central Government. Member of Parliament, Jorhat Parliamentary Constituency, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa was the chief guest on the occasion and Member of Legislative Assembly, Khumtai, Mril Saikia was present as guest of honour.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamakhya Prasad Tasa elaborated on the benefits of the various innovative schemes launched by the government since it came to power and highlighted how these schemes were designed to benefit people from all sections of the society upholding the motto of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He appealed to all the people to willingly come forward to avail the benefits of these schemes. 

The MP also spoke on the steps taken up by the government to generate employment in the country and specially thanked the authorities of Numaligarh Refinery Limited for taking up several projects in line with the schemes launched by the central Government and contributing to the cause of employment generation.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA of Khumtai, Mril Saikia spoke on the commitment of the government to eradicate corruption in the governce and said if adequate proof against any official was found, strict action would be taken against the person. The MLA also spoke on the various schemes launched for the benefit of women and asked the people to come forward and willingly take part in the growth story of the tion and help build a better India. Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Bothra welcomed all present and encouraged the beneficiaries present to freely interact with the public representatives and talk about the benefits they have received from the schemes.

A brief clipping on the flagship schemes of the Central Government and another on the various achievements of Numaligarh Refinery Limited were shown to the audience at the programme.  General Mager (Technical), Nikunja Borthakur, General Mager (Project), A.P. Chakraborty, Deputy General Mager (Fire & Safety), Gopal Sarma, Senior Mager (Fire & Safety) JB Sarma represented Numaligarh Refinery Limited at the event.
