School bids farewell to SDO at Gohpur

Gohpur, May 5: A sorrowful farewell was given to SDO civil of Gohpur and additiol deputy commissioner of Biswath district, Sanjoy Dutta by Morning star high school Barangabari on Tuesday. Sanjoy Dutta has been transferred from the historic subdivision Gohpur. He will join in Dibrugarh as additiol deputy commissioner shortly. The farewell meeting was held on the occasion at the premises of Morning star high school Barangabari which was chaired by educationist litterateur and social worker Lokeswari Handique. Sanjoy Dutta, his wife Shoma Dutta, Medical officer of Halem Dr. Asreen Suha along with Bhuban Saikia, general secretary of Sonitpur district jourlist union participated in the meeting.

The staff and students of the school felicitated Sanjoy dutta along with his family and dignitaries by Jaapi and traditiol phoolam Gamusa. Prominent citizens of the locality and the staff of Morning star high school spoke on the various aspects on the life and works of Sanjoy Dutta. Jadab Chaliha founder of Morning star high school expressed their gratitude on behalf of Morning star high school family for the cordiality he had shown to the institution. Sanjoy Dutta thanked everyone for the love, respect and cooperation he had received from the public of Gohpur in his address. Lokeswari Handique, president expressed her sincere gratitude for the services he had rendered to the people of Gohpur as its SDO civil.

“In spite of his busy schedule, Dutta took active participation in every socio-cultural event of Gohpur. He has succeeded to generate good a relation between administration and public,” said Lokeswari Handique. Sanjoy Dutta has completed two and half years in Gohpur as its SDO Civil. One year ago, he was promoted as the Additiol deputy commissioner of Biswath district. The farewell meeting concluded successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by Dinesh Kr. KC, Principal of Morning star high school Barangabari.
