School in Ledo to celebrate golden jubilee

MARGHERITA, April 26: Ledo Shankardev Vidyapith High Secondary School, Ledo, will celebrate its golden jubilee. Recently, Jagat Changmai, president of Ledo Shankardev Vidyapith High Secondary School, organized a public meeting for the golden jubilee celebration at the school premises. ng Chupati Singpho Mili ,Headmistress of Ledo Shankardev Vidyapith High Secondary School, delivered her speech where many renowned persons of Ledo such as Someswar Neog, former Headmaster of Ledo Shankardev Vidyapith Higher Secondary School, Bisa Raja Bisang Singpho, Lakhi Baruah and Kankan Mukherjee were present. A committee was formed with Jagat Chanmai as president, Sharifuddin Sheikh as vice-president, Dheeraj Sonowal as working president, ng Chupati Singpho Mili as chief general secretary, Ra Jyoti Neog as general secretary, Amiya Khataniar and Jivan Biswas as assistant general secretaries and Achutyand Sengupta as treasurer, along with 21 executive members. Also, a 30-member sub-committee for reception was formed at the public meeting.
