School observes 24th foundation day

GAURISAGAR, March 18: Goldline Model High School in  Charing area  on the outskirts of Gaurisagar,  established in 1993 in  Sivasagar  district, completed 24 years  recently. On this occasion a day-long function was held at the school. The programme started with hosting of flag hoisted by Siva Gogoi, Principal of the school, followed  by smriti tarpan initiated  by social worker Robin Duarah. Later, an open season was held under  chairmanship of  Jitendra rayan Duarah, president, School Maging Committee (SMC). In the  function, the annual mouthpiece of the school Jnjan, edited by Unma Hazarika, was unveiled  by Saruj Khanikar, retired teacher of RKP Boys’ High School, Charing.
