School receives fincial assistance

SHILLONG, April 5: The Nongmensong Dorbar Secondary School on Wednesday received fincial assistants to the tune of Rs. 30, 000 and one computer from family members of local MLA of Pynthorumkhrah Constituency AL Hek. The fincial aid was given in the me of the local MLAs, Grandmother Monica Hek. A  further Rs. 50, 000 was given for construction of a computer lab for the students of the school.

It may be noted that the School was founded by the Dorbar Shnong (Village institution) of Nongmensong 1998.

“We are grateful for the generous dotion by the family members of our local MLA AL Hek. However, this is not the first but they have been supporting the School right from the day it was founded,” S. Kharsahnoh Headmistress of the school said while speaking to reporters.
