TAMULPUR, Oct 2: Sensation prevailed at Tamulpur after a student of Tamulpur Kendriya Vidyalaya committed suicide at the premises of his house. The deceased student has been identified as Bishal Majumdar (15), son of Jagadish Majumdar of village Bhakatpara under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa. The student was missing from his house since Sunday. On Monday morning at around 9 am, he was found hanging in an isolated room in the premises of their house. His father was admitted in a hospital in Guwahati in a critical condition after he met with an accident. On September 30, Bishal went to the hospital with his family members to visit his father. According to the family members, Bishal became depressed after seeing his father’s critical condition and it is suspected that Bishal committed suicide for that. Tamulpur police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem to Mushalpur. Teachers, students and relatives along with the villagers have mourned his demise.
