Science-based competition held at Kheroni

KHERONI, Nov 23: A block-level science based competition was held at Kheroni Thong Nobody Hindi High School in West Karbi Anglong under Socheng Block Aryabhatta Science Centre on Wednesday under Assam Science Technology and Environment Council. Besides displaying their science-based equipment, he also participated in art competition, extempore speech and others.

While speaking on the occasion, the coorditor, Baisithya Prasad said that the students who secured first, second and third positions would be allowed to participate in the district-level science exhibition whenever it would be organized. Prizes and certificates were distributed among the position holders thorough this competition. Altogether students of 10 ME and High Schools have participated in the exhibition and competition where at least 150 students showcase their talent. The competition was adjudged by Buren Deka, Rani Sarmah, Sitaram Chouhan, Guma Devi, Ram Anurag Mahtu and Pomeswar Mahtu where the Headmaster of the Kheroni Thong Nobody Hindi High School, Bisambar th Gupta attended as a chief guest in the event.
