Science exhibition held at Dimakuchi

Dimakuchi, Sept 24: A science-cum- art and craft exhibition was organized at Dimakuchi Don Bosco School on Saturday.

Fifty attractive science models, mostly working models, were displayed by the students which drew appreciation from people. An art and craft exhibition was also arranged by students showing various paintings and hand-made designs of bamboo, wood and fibre. Students and teachers of various schools of Dimakuchi and nearby areas visited the exhibition.

Xavier Beck, Principal of Don Bosco School told this correspondent that it was their first attempt to organize such an exhibition to motivate students for creative innovation. Deputy Speaker Nerswn Boro paid a visit at the exhibition and encouraged the young generation to develop their tender minds and to be innovative. Students from KG to Class X actively took part in the day-long science exhibition displaying their colourful scientific models and projects.
