Science stream iugurated by Deputy CM

SHILLONG, May 12: The North Liberty Higher Secondary School located at Mookyrdup, Ladthadaboh Jowai on May 11 received a major boost as Deputy Chief Minister RC Laloo iugurated the Science Stream. The newly iugurated campus of the Science Stream is located at Mission Compound Jowai in the multi-storey building of the Deputy Chief Minister, which he constructed in memorial of his parents and grand-parents.

During the iugural function, principal of the school Richard Uriah stated that the Science Stream will go all out to impart quality education to the students. He further said with the opening of the Science Stream, there is scope that the school will produce quality students to serve the town, district and the tion as a whole in the future. Earlier, the Superintendent of Police (SP), while observing that a lot of students think that science is a very tough subject, urged the students to concentrate on the basic concepts of the subject which will ultimately lead to success.
