Scientists from NASA, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to grace Techniche

GUWAHATI, July 19: ‘Techniche – 2018’, the 20th edition of the annual techno-management fest of IIT Guwahati, will be graced by two prominent scientists from NASA and ISRO. The two scientists will take part in a discussion on the theme, ‘Space Colonization – Does a future await us light years away?’ on September 1, next.

Space colonization has been a hot topic in the field of astronomy for years now and through this panel discussion, IIT Techniche aims to bring out the details of the topic to a widespread audience in presence of notable scientists working in domain of space and who have been working for years to achieve this dream of life outside our blue planet. The panelists will share their views on the agenda as they seek to unravel the aura of space colonization.

‘Techniche-2018’ will be held from August 30 to September 2 at the IIT Guwahati campus. The events during Techniche will include workshops, technical exhibitions, guest lectures, technical competitions, literary events including Model United Nations.
