Scrap the Notification issued by MUDA: PT Sawkmie

SHILLONG, Oct 27: Process T. Sawkmie, MDC from Mawlai Constituency and Deputy Chief Executive Member of KHADC has appealed the state government to scrap the Notification published by MUDA which has included 10 localities under the Meghalaya Building Bye Laws, 2010.

“The inclusion of the 10 localities which are outside the jurisdiction of the Municipality under the Meghalaya Building Bye Laws will only bring problems to the people residing in these areas,” Process T. Sawkmie told newsmen here on Tuesday.

He also expressed his support towards the massive public rally called by the Synjuk ki Nongsynshar ka Bri u Hynniewtrep (SKNKBH) to be held on October 30.

“I would like to appeal to the people of Mawlai Constituency to come and participate in the public rally,” he said.
