Screening camp for physically challenged

HOWRAGHAT, July 12:  A one-day screening camp for physically challenged people was organized on Wednesday by the Social Welfare Department, Karbi Anglong district. The screening camp was organized under Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), Bokajan at its office premises.

More than 129 physically challenged people, including adults and minors under Bokajan ICDS project, were screened by Dr Devraj Deury and Dr Rukachen Bey. During the one-day screening camp of disability, Kirla Teronpi, District Officer, srin Sulta, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) and all office staff of Bokajan ICDS project were present. The physically challenged people were diagnosed and prescribed for advanced medicines.
