Shillong, July 14: A cameraman with an Assam-based television channel was injured when he was assaulted by a mob at 9th Mile, Baridua, Ri-Bhoi district. The injured person has been identified as one Trilok Singh of Pratidin Time.
Police said at around 1 am on Friday, a fire broke out in some vegetable shops of the area. And while the crowd was trying to extinguish the fire, the crew of Pratidin Time took footage of the incident, during which some angry youth assaulted them.
