Scrutiny of nomition papers at North Salmara, Abhayapuri

Abhayapuri, March 24: A meeting was held at the conference hall of the SDO (Civil) Office, North Salmara, Abhayapuri, regarding scrutiny of the nomition papers of all the candidates who filed their nomitions till March 22. The meeting was presided over by the DEO-cum-SDO (Civil) of North Salmara, Abhayapuri, and other officials and dignitaries present in the meeting were Ashrumani Malakar, RO of North Salmara, Kanta Das, Nodal Officer, 35- Abhaypuri South(SC) LAC , General Observer Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargav and the nomited candidates of both the LACs, along with the corresponding political parties and their representatives and local media correspondents, stated a press release. In 34-Abhayapuri North LAC the candidates whose nomitions have been accepted are Bhupen Ray, Toren Chandra Ray, Abdul Baten Khandarkar, Abdul Hai iguri, Bhagirath Ray,  Swapan Mukherjee, Rahimuddin Sheikh and Samsul Haque. One candidate, Asraful Islam’s candidature was cancelled because he had less witnesses than he was supposed to produce. In 35 –Abhaypuri South(SC) LAC , the candidates whose nomitions have been accepted are Rabin Banikya, Nirmalendu Banikya, Anta Kumar Malo, Dipak Chandra Ruhi Das, Dhiren Majumdar, Ashok Dutta, Chandan Kumar Sarkar and Shankar Ch. Sarkar.
