As part of the boat journey, on Sunday, the 40-member team of SDRF reached Laharighat, Morigaon. In presence of students and local people, the SDRF team organized an awareness camp on removal of illiteracy on the bank of the river in presence of Deputy Commissioner Hemen Das and Superintendent of Police Swapneel Deka. Thereafter, the boat started to move towards Guwahati and it was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner. The SDRF team will next reach Netaidhubini Ghat in Dhubri district.
