Search for MLA Gopi Das continues

 BOKO, September 19: A special group of police conducted a raid on Friday night in search of Gopi Das, sitting MLA of Boko.  A complaint had been filed by a minor girl’s family at Boko Police Station on September 7 alleging that Gopi Das had molested her in the car while she was travelling from garbera to Guwahati with him. She worked as a maid in his house. Gopi Das is absconding and the court rejected his anticipatory bail plea. Das has not surrendered.  The MLA had allegedly fled from the house of Rabilochan Thakuria of Saru Kalupara of garbera under Boko LAC before the arrival of the police.
