Search for wreckage of crashed Sukhoi on

gaon, May 20: After the crashing of Sukhoi combat jet on Tuesday at Pub Kaladoba under Juria police station, the search for the remains of the aircraft continues. Many high-level officers of Indian Air Force arrived from Delhi on Wednesday and examined the area where the aircraft crashed.  

Briefing media persons, Chief Air Station officer K V R Raju said that it might take two or three days to recover the remains. The Sukhoi jet was flying at a speed of about 2000 km per hour when it crashed and struck the surface and the aircraft totally entered under the surface. Usually a Sukhoi jet is 89-foot long and breadth is 40 feet. The complete disappearance of this aircraft under the surface is also a matter of surprise. The cause of the accident is not known so far and the Air Force sources have not disclosed anything till now. According to them everything will be known after the recovery of the black box.

Several persons of the village were injured in the accident. All were hit by the splinters of the aircraft. The Air Force officials arrived on Wednesday and assured that they would provide necessary treatment to the injured persons. The Air Force officials also assured to pay compensation to farmers for the loss of agriculture crops for the accident.
