JORHAT, March 25: Massive search operation is going on to b Mahendra Gogoi, a suspected ULFA (I) linkman who has been serving extortion notes in Majuli island district for the last several weeks. Majuli Police have announced cash award to anybody who can give specific information about the ULFA linkman who has been collecting money in me of the banned outfit, informed police sources. Police so far recovered several extortion pads and notes and two mobile phones, eight chargers and list of people’s mes.
