LBARI, March 30: Mikshi Sundaram, the chairman of Secondary of Education, Assam (SEBA) visited the Barama HS School zone to supervise the evaluation of HSLC answer sheets on Sunday.
Addressing a meeting held on the occasion, the SEBA chairman highlighted the responsibilities of examiners, scrutinizers and head examiners in the evaluation work. He also urged the examiners to get acquainted with the new system of evaluation work formulated by SEBA.
He said that examiners would be given training on the new system of evaluation 3-4 months before the commencement of the HSLC examition next year. Sundaram also assured that the remuneration of examiners and scrutinizers would be enhanced when a memorandum with sigtures of 200 examiners in this regard would be submitted to him.
Bidyasagar Ramchiary, the chief zol officer, Baikuntha th Barman and biur Rahman, the concerned officials of the zone, highlighted the problems of the zone while Suryya Kanta Kalita explained the object of the meeting.
Binod Seshan, Baksa Deputy Commissioner, and Dr Om Prakash, lbari Deputy Commissioner , who accompanied the SEBA chairman, also attended the meeting held on the occasion.
