Sec 144 promulgated to check mass copying during HSLC, HS examitions

Dibrugarh, Feb 16:  In order to check mass copying in the ensuing High Madrassa, HSLC and Higher Secondary examition and to complete the entire examition process peacefully, the District Magistrate, Loya Madduri, by an order, has promulgated Sec 144 under Cr.P.C prohibiting entry of uuthorized person in the examition centre or assembly of people within 200 metre-radius of the centres scattered in the district.

The order has also banned to carrying of mobile phones, electronic goods and other similar gadgets which disrupt the peace and tranquility of the examition centres, besides prohibiting teachers and invigilators who are in charge of the centres to help examinees fraudulently. The order is in force in the specific areas until the examition of High Madrassa, HSLC and Higher Secondary Examition is over.

KALAIGAON: Udalguri Deputy Commissioner and District Executive Magistrate, Sadha Hojai imposed section 144 of the Code of Crimil Procedure with immediate effect throughout Udalguri district.

In a press release it was stated that there was likelihood of breach of peace and tranquility in the district of Udalguri in view of ensuring HSLC examition which will commence from February 17. According to 144 Cr.PC , use of loud speaker around 500 metre-radius of the examition centre, entry of e uuthorized person or unnecessary crowding around the premise of the examition centre and within 200 metres of the premise, and carrying of uuthorized and suspected objects, mobile phone, electronic device by examinees to the examition hall have been prohibited. This order will be enforced with immediate effect and will remain in operation till completion of the examition process.

KOKRAJHAR: In view of smooth conduct of HSLC and HS examitions, 2017, the Chirang District Magistrate, Binod Kr. Deka has promulgated prohibitory order under section 144 Cr.PC throughout the district.

The order has prohibited the uuthorized person and unnecessary crowding in and around the periphery of 200-metre radius of premises of HSLC and HS examitions centres, carrying of uuthorized and suspected objects, mobile phones, and electronic devices by the examinees to the examition hall, engaging uuthorized persons in the conduct of examition and aiding examinees through unfair means. This order has been placed considering every possibility of causing obstruction, annoyance, apprehension of unlawful interference in the examition centres and serious breach of public peace and tranquility with immediate effect. It will remain in operation till completion of the examition process.
