Second day of Gunotsav Phase III in Golaghat conducted successfully

Golaghat (Dhekial), Jan 4: The second day of the four-day Gunotsav programme was conducted successfully across 558 schools in Golaghat district on Thursday where exterl evaluators assessed the schools on the basis of scholastic and co-scholastic activities of the students, availability and utilization of school infrastructure and resources, community participation, among others. Out of the 558 schools evaluated today, 453 were LP schools, 55 UP schools and 50 were composite schools. Average percentage of attendance of students in the district was at 91.46 per cent.

Senior government officials both from within and outside the district took part in today’s evaluation process, in a bid to boost the morale of the students of these schools. ADGP (Admin), Assam AP Hqs, Dr LR Bishnoi, IPS, was the exterl evaluator at Krishram Adarsha HS under Golaghat North Block while ADGP (STF), Assam, KV Singh Deo, IPS, was present as exterl evaluator at mdoyang LP School.

Commissioner and Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Veteriry, DD Das visited No 2 Kuralguri LP School under Golaghat North Block Dergaon. Secretary, Sports and Youth Welfare, Sanjib Kumar Gohain Baruah evaluated No 4 Rongbong Dhalpar LPS on the second day of Gunotsav. Deputy Commissioner Gaurav Bothra was present as exterl evaluator at Town Balika LP School, Golaghat. MLA of Khumtai, Mril Saikia and MLA of Golaghat, Ajanta Neog also took part in the programme and visited Gyandeep ME School and Hamdoi HS respectively.
