Second phase of BMMP begins

Goalpara, October 1: Booth Micro Magement Programme (BMMP), a programme to enhance coordition among the party workers and to infuse in them the Indian tiol Congress ideology , began in Goalpara on Thursday at Mornoi. This is the second phase of the programme as the first phase was stopped due to the sudden flood in the State. Parashuram Dubey, secretary of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) and entrusted with the BMMP programme in the district, addressed the crowd gathered at the party office at Mornoi area in presence of Sofiqul Ahmed, district coorditor, Sahabuddin Ahmed and Minu Brahma, both general secretaries of  DCC and Atower Rahman, president, Matia BCC. Regarding the recent role played by Prime Minister rendra Modi in regard to the development of Assam, Parashuram Dubey vehemently criticized Modi and called him’ biased’. On the other hand, in regard to the development of the district, he remarked, “We don’t have any share in the Congress government as we have not elected MLAs since the last 3-4 times. Hence the district is lagging behind in development.” Meanwhile, in another meeting arranged on the same day at Nepalikhuti, representatives from Nepali and other communities appraised the APCC secretary of the problems they were facing. Abul Kalam Hussain, general secretary, DCC, Ri Das, Matia BCC general secretary, along with others took part in this programme. Both the meetings was presided over by Kapil Das, Mornoi MCC president.
