GUWAHATI, April 2: The second semi fil in GSA ‘A’ Division Cricket League between vajyoti Club and Bud Cricket club is evenly poised after the end of the first day’s play in the city on Monday. Chasing Bud Cricket club’s first innings total of 180 runs vajyoti club scored 102-4 at stumps on day I.
Elected to bat Bud were bowled out 180 runs in the first innings although Atul Singh (73) played a nice knock. The batsman altogether faced 143 balls and there were six boundaries in his innings. Later vajyoti too failed to bat as per the expectation and unless Sanzow Brahma (59no) put little resistance the story might be different for them. Sanzow’s unbeaten knock came in 79 balls and he hit six boundaries and two sixes.
