Second win for Lajong juniors

SHILLONG, Oct 13: Shillong Lajong FC Junior Reds registered their second consecutive win in the U-17 Subroto Cup Intertiol Football Tourment.

The Lajong Academy lads defeated Tata Football Academy today by 1-0 in the New Wellington Camp in New Delhi.

Donboklang Lyngdoh scored the only goal in today’s match and has taken his goal tally to three goals from two matches.

It was in the 16th minute of the match when Samuel Kynshi’s cross found Donboklang who made no mistake to head the ball into the net. Shillong Lajong Academy boys will play their next match against Pune City FC on Friday at New Wellington Camp New Delhi at 4pm.
