Section 144 imposed

Dibrugarh, Dec 3:  The Subdivisiol District  Magistrate issued certain prohibitory directives under  Section 144 of CrPC in the entire district on Saturday under which assembly of more than five people in one place, holding or carrying of deadly weapons including weapon stick and axe in the public place, public assembly, procession, organizing of hunger strike or  sit-in-strike, burning of effigies, construction of martyrs  dome in government or private place,  training on use of lathi or weapons in public place,  road blockade, collection of dotion,  and firing of fireworks and crackers in public place are strictly prohibited.

Moreover, throwing of harmful chemicals and colours on passersby, women and children, playing of loud music in close proximity to schools, colleges, nursing homes, and   court premises between 10 pm to 6 am is prohibited under Section 144. In addition to the above,  commul activities,  slogans against tion and community, black glasses in cars, wearing of  olive colored uniform of the  defense forces,  wearing of full mask helmet  is forbidden, including pillion riding in two-wheeler vehicles  except doctor, advocate, government officer, students , jourlist and person above 60 years, under the directive. The aforesaid law has been imposed at once and will remain in force in the entire district till 60 days. Any person, who is found to violate the said law will be strictly dealt with under the legal procedures of Section 188 of the IPC.
