Section 144 imposed

KOKRAJHAR, Feb 17: To ensure smooth conduct of HSLC, AHM and AHSEC examitions, 2017 began from today, the Kokrajhar District Magistrate- Bibekanda Choudhury, by an order has imposed section 144 Cr.PC within the radius of 200 mtrs from the examition centres in entire Kokrajhar district. However, teachers and students along with officials, police personnel and paramilitary forces involved in the examition process are exempted from the purview of this order. In the order it is informed that it has been imposed considering every possibility of causing obstruction, annoyance, apprehension of unlawful interference in the examition centres and serious breach of public peace and tranquility. This order has come into force from February 17 and will remain in position till completion of the examition process.
