Section 144 promulgated in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, March 8: The Golaghat district magistrate promulgated Section 144 in Golaghat district from Monday. The district magistrate issued order to promulgate Section 144 to maintain law and order and prohibited to carry out protest rally, dhar programme, arrange of meeting, assembly of five persons and above, playing of play card, postering, wall writing, fire cracking is restricted. Besides collecting of dotion, printing of leaflets of party or associations, riding of motorcycle without wearing helmet, use of black glass in car and vegetables, sweets, fish-meat in a open place, carrying and use of arms except NCC, CRPF and police officials have been strictly prohibited at Golaghat.
