SHILLONG, July 14: The District Magistrate of West Jaintia Hills has promulgated an order under Section 144Cr.PC prohibiting any person or groups of persons from causing obstruction to the smooth flow of traffic and movement of the public, procession along the tiol Highway-44 from Lad Kiang ngbah Government College to the Deputy Commissioner Office and within 100 metres from its peripheral, Dhar or sit-in demonstration in and around 100 metres from the Deputy Commissioner Office and carrying of arms, weapons etc which is likely to cause harm or injury to any person(s) with exception of the Police personnel and authorized person on duty, stated a press release.
