Security beefed up in Lakhimpur

Lakhimpur, October 20: In a meeting held on Tuesday, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Lakhimpur, Bojenjit Sinha said that to ensure public safety during Durga Puja, security had been beefed up in Lakhimpur. He said that that as per information, seven terrorists had entered the territory of the district in the recent past and they might try to carry out subversive activities during the festivities. He urged people to remain alert and to cooperate with the police administration.
