Security forces bs 2 Myanmar tiols with heroin

Silchar, November 10: In a joint operation, based on prior information from the BSF intelligence wing, conducted by BSF and Special rcotics Cell, two Myanmar tiols were bbed with 150 grams of heroin, valued at Rs.5 lakh in the intertiol market, in Electric Veng area under Zarkawt police station of Aizawl district. The apprehended have been identified as Kangkhanmung (38), son of Zelkhando, resident of Tahan and Zonunmawia (25), son of Ginkhanlia, resident of Kalimeau of Myanmar. BSF spokesperson, Satish Budakoti, Deputy Inspector General, Frontier Headquarter BSF Mizoram and Cachar, informed the media that the seized contraband was smuggled from Myanmar to be sold in Aizawl. The apprehended persons along with the seized rcotics have been handed over to concerned police station for further interrogations and legal proceedings.
