Sehwag meets Shiva in city

GUWAHATI, Sept 15: Former opener of Team India Virendra Sehwag today visited the city and spent few moments with ace boxer of the country Shiva Thapa.  Sewhag’s visit in the city was the part of his TV show where he is presenting 13 possible stars of 2020 Olympic one by one.

It was EPIC Channel who launched the programme in July with the title – ‘13 Khiladi, Sap Ek’ – Umeed India. The programme will reveal inspiring journeys and on-going battles of 13 sports stars including the Freestyle Wrestler and Olympic medallist Sakshi Malik, Paralympian Swimmer Suyash Yadav, Shot Put player Om Prakash Karha, Sprinter Dutee Chand, boxer Shiva Thapa, Wrestler Vinesh Phogat and others.

Virender Sehwag travels to the places across India where athletes are priming for gold and glory. He explores the ambitions, aspirations and struggles of the best sportspeople of India.

The former opener today first visited Shiva’s house at Birubari and later went to SAI Sports complex where he discussed different matters with Shiva related to the early days of struggle, his achievement and the future plan for the his new episode.
