Self-attestation to be regularized with immediate effect

Silchar, July 19: More than a year ago, on February 29, 2015, Assam government introduced and notified that self-attestation of origil documents should be in common practice. As a result of which, people no longer have to attest their documents by gazette officers or magistrates. But, it has been found that some departments and authorities have not started implementing this. In view of this, the Assam government on July 5, 2016, has again notified to implement it with immediate effect.
