Doomdooma, June 12: On the occasion of 15th foundation day of Ramdhenu Mohila Chora, a seminar on ‘Present tendency of increased criminality in the society and the role of parents and the society in offering resistance in reducing the atrocities on women’ was organised at the auditorium of Doomdooma Balika Uccha Madhyamik Vidyalaya on Sunday with president Bina Deka, former principal of Doomdooma College, as co-ordinator. Dr Nita Paul, associate professor of Tinsukia Women College and Mridusmita Barman, the leading social worker, took part as appointed speakers on the subject. They projected a positive picture about how the teenaged girls and women can successfully deal with the situation and the support the parents and the society should give to them to eradicate this evils. The programme was anchored by Rumi Pathak and Miranda Deka Baruah, Joint Secretaries, Ramdhenu Mohila Chora.
