Semir held

Jorhat, Nov 14: A semir on ‘Responsibilities and duty of citizen in the present time situation in Assam’ was held at Radha Kanta Handique Bhavan in Jorhat on Saturday.  A group of senior citizens of Jorhat organized a semir which was presided over by Dr. Bolin Hazarika , Professor in Jagath Baruah College. Eminent jourlist Adip Kumar  Phukon participated as a speaker.  He said, “In the present situation, Assamese people are facing a crucial situation.” Another speaker jourlist Monjit Mahanta criticized AGP, BJP and AIUDF for not solving the burning problems of Assam.
