Semir on career counselling held at CRPF Kashipur

Silchar, July 12: A semir on career counseling under civic action programme was organized by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 147th battalion at its headquarters in Kashipur today. Students of Jaganth Singh College, Nehru College and F A Degree College attended the programme. The function was iugurated by resh Kumar Jaiswal, Commandant 147 Battalion CRPF. Dr. D Ghosh, coorditor, career counseling placement cell school magement, Amit Kumar Das, coorditor, cooperation relation cell school magement and Abhijit Biswas, coorditor, TNP School of Technology of Assam University were guest-lecturers on the occasion who guided the students about how to become successful in their chosen career and explore themselves with full potential, dedication and confidence.

 Speaking to the students Jaiswal said, “We have organized this programme particularly for the students of rural areas who are mostly uware about the latest trends in the field of professiol careers. Professiol career counselors can support people with related challenges in many ways. With their expertise in career development and labour markets, they put student’s qualification, strengths and weaknesses in a broad perspective and guide the students in the right direction. We have also decided to provide motor training and repairing courses to youth which will begin very soon. It will help the youth in becoming employed and earn a living.”

 He further wished the students for a bright future in their respective professiol career. KC Samal, Deputy Commandent, CRPF, also spoke to the students on relevant themes like how to improve student’s performance during interviews and making a discreet choice for the various career options open before them. Question-answer session was also conducted in which many students asked questions to the panelists for choosing their career options. S K Sahu, second-in-command, UK Mitra, Deputy Commandant, Nur Ahmed Laskar, eminent educationist, were among those present on the occasion.
