Semir on Companies (Amendment) Bill, SEBI held

Dibrugarh, Sept 12: Duliajan Chapter of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India organized a semir on the Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2017 and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 in collaboration with Oil India Limited at OIL’s field Headquarter, Duliajan recently.

The semir was chaired by CMA Sanjay Choudhuri, General Mager (F&A) of OIL who is also chairman of the Chapter. Eminent speaker on Company Law and Taxation, CMA Mrityunjay Acharjee, Kolkata, spoke extensively on the topics and the members present actively participated in the deliberations.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India has opened a chapter office at Duliajan with the active participation of Cost Accounting professiols in the area, which is the second functioning chapter in Assam and third in Northeast India. The chapter conducts oral coaching classes for the students of the Cost and Magement Accountancy course of the Institute and has already undertaken a number of measures in pursuit of professiol excellence to promote awareness amongst the local aspirants regarding the Cost and Magement Accounting profession.
