Semir on GST

GUWAHATI, Feb 23: Assam Chamber of Commerce in association with Confederation of all India Traders (CAIT) organized a one-day day semir on GST at Hotel Gateway Grandeur here today. The main purpose of the semir was to apprise the trader community about the soon to be implemented GST.

BC Bharatia, president and Praveen Khandelwal, general secretary of CAIT had briefly apprised the delegates about the fine points of GST.

State Information Technology minister Keshab Mahanta also spoken to the delegation. In his welcome speech Chairman of Assam Chamber of Commerce Rupam Goswami appraised the benefits of GST to the delegates.  MLAs rayan Deka and Rupak Sharma were also present at the semir.
