Semir on NE women in Jorhat

JORHAT, Dec 26: Jorhat Kendriya Mahavidyalaya will organize a tiol semir on ‘Historical Significance of Women in Northeast India with special reference to Assam’ on January 18 and January 18 in collaboration with Bharariya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Jorhat district committee in the college campus. The sub-themes of the semir are Women and society, Women and literature, Women in ancient Northeast, Women in medieval Northeast, Role of Women of North India in the Indian freedom movement, women education in Northeast, Women and economy in Northeast, Women in folk tradition and culture and other relevant topics.
