Semir on non-fictiol prose of Bodo literature

KOKRAJHAR, Sept 19: The Sahitya Akademi, in collaboration with Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS), will organize a semir on ‘Non-fictiol Prose of Bodo Literature, its past, present and future’ on September 25 at Dudhnoi College in Goalpara. This was informed by BSS general secretary Kamala Kanta Mashahary.

As part of the semir, the welcome address will be given by officer in-charge, Sahitya Akademi, Kolkata, Gautam Paul followed by introduction to be given by the convener of Bodo Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi, Premanda Mashahary while the president of the BSS, Dr. Kameswar Brahma will iugurate the semir. The vice-president of the Sabha, Biseswar Basumatary will give the key note address and the iugural session will be chaired by Gautam Paul, officer in-charge, Sahitya Akademi, Kolkata.

In the first session of the semir, Indira Boro and Swar Prabha Chairy will present their semir papers on the non-fictiol prose of Bodo literature, its past, present and future. The first session will be chaired by Dr Bhupen rzaree. In the second session, Jibeswar Koch and Phukan Chandra Basumatary will present their semir papers and the session will be chaired by Dr Anil Boro.
