Semir on yoga and turopathy in Shillong

Shillong, March 28: State Additiol Chief Secretary Y Tsering on Tuesday termed yoga and turopathy as an ancient form of technique used in preventing and curing diseases. Speaking at the iuguration of the three-day State level semir on Yoga and turopathy, organised by the Meghalaya State Ayush Society and sponsored by the Central Council for Research in Yoga and turopathy at Aurobindo Institute of Indian Culture, here, Tsering stressed on the need to have an active participation on the part of the general public in such semirs so that they can benefit from it.
He also said that participants can benefit a lot and can actually leverage upon the learning from the semir and pass them on to the masses.
