Senior citizens felicitated

HOJAI, April 28: Axam Xahitya Xabha (AXX), Kheroni unit felicitated 11 senior citizens of Kheroni in west Karbi Anglong recently. The senior citizens were felicitated with gamusa and certificate of honour. Those felicitated included Ghanusha Bora, the wife of Madeshwar Boao, founder of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Kheroni unit, Kar Bahadur of Nepali Basti, Jangali Chauhan of Pura Basti, Babuso Barborah of Kheroni, Baidhth Sangma of Chhota Matikhola, Thong Teran of Kheroni, Dhaneshwar Baishya of Kheroni, Shashi Kant th of Kachari Basti and Ganesh Ramsiary of Maimaru Gaon. An AXX delegation met all the senior citizens in their houses and felicitated them. The delegation included president Sat Kumar Baruah, secretary Nipan Das, cultural secretary Pradip Laskar and others members of the unit.
