Serbia defender joins Roma

Rome, July 23 : Veteran Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov signed a three-year contract with the AS Roma for five million euros ($5.83 million), both football clubs have confirmed. Kolarov was also awarded the Serbian player of the year in 2011 and helped Manchester City to win FA Cup and Community Shield once each. IANS
